Title: Game Report (Defense) Post by: PirateVOL on September 14, 2014, 07:58:30 EDT The defense played well. A few breakdowns but overall I was very happy with the level of play.
DL: Then DL played very well. They got good pressure and were rarely gashed or power rushed after the first series. Barnett is a stud. He ran down their TB on the longish run in the 4th, after Randolph whiffed. Vereen played well. The DTs played well also. We are thin but those we have are playing well. LB: 2 PF the 3 stars on defense play there. Reeves-Mayben is playing at a high level. AJ is, well AJ. DB: cam Sutton is the 3rd star, playing at a very high level. Coleman had his best game. He or Cam had a mix up on a cross route that led to a long pass play. McNeil had his best game as a Vol. TK Jr got the start but after his bust that led to the TD I'm not sure I saw him on the field.
