Actually more people go to games nowadays. Plus I'm sure the TV revenue is huge as well. I only watched about a total of 2 innings of all 7 games. Baseball is better at the stadium than on TV.

There was a time when I was a big baseball fan, but that has waned. I didn't watch even one pitch of this World Series. In fact, I don't recall watching any MLB games this season. I'm a huge fan of the game of baseball itself. I just can't get into the MLB. I'm sure I'll be the same about the NBA after the current crop of Spurs have retired, and there may be a time down the road when I feel the same about the NFL. Pro sports in general just don't interest me nearly as much as

I used to follow the Braves, watching practically every game, but since my son has become an adult and left home there's no one to watch with and baseball is all about "discussion". :patriot:
