I heard that Wisky requires 17 core courses while the NCAA's requirement is 14, which he qualifies for. I don't get why they would have higher standards for their athletes. They are going on an athletic scholarship, not an academic one. Just cuts down on quality recruits for them if you ask me. Of course the narrative will be....the BIG has higher standards and the SEC will let anyone in.

As for Stevenson, it appears that Nebraska and Oregon State are our biggest competition to land him. He apparently plans to pick one by the end of the weekend and enroll immediately. We could really use him, as our depth behind Hurd and Kamara is pretty much non existent. And as a smaller, "pure speed" kind of back, he would really be a change of pace to those guys.
