While PolitiVol has been given quite a bit of leeway due to the nature of the topics discussed, it's time to remind everyone about the rules.

First and foremost, keep it good natured.  This is supposed to be FUN.

Perhaps this should be changed from "fun" to "civil," but I think you should get the point. 

Posts containing obscenities, nude pictures, pornography, name calling, racial slurs, personal attacks directed at other posters and/or the University of Tennessee, its coaches and/or players, and mean spirited flames are a violation of the Board Rules, and as such, are subject to deletion.

Here, the part about "the University of Tennessee, its coaches and/or players" should be read as being the various political parties, representatives, candidates, etc.  You may hate a political party other than your own, you may hate a particular candidate, etc., but when posting here you should temper that emotion.  From now on, whenever I see a derogatory reference to a person, party, etc., I am going to delete it, and I do not care who posts it.  This is not the VS Lounge and I do not want it to go in that direction (the board will simply disappear one day if that happens).  This is not a "free speech" zone.  So, avoid all the cute, largely unfunny, nicknames you have for people and parties.  They are not welcome here, since they do not encourage or civil and useful discussion.

There, that is your one-and-only warning.  Be as serious as you like about these important topics, but DO NOT get personal or cross the bounds of civility.
