We were substituting the DL every time they sub'd Took Kirtland out for a series but when he came back in he really played well till he was injured The Shoop got VERY aggressive he was blitzing about every play, the tackles were being very disruptive, Gauldin was essentially playing LB and it appears he LIKES hitting the QB with or without the ball. They avoided throwing towards Sutton after beating him early but seeing his quick recovery speed Martin was abused and Mosely played very soft Non offense I thought Jack Jones played better than the other two guards combined when he was in the game Dobbs threw the ball better early I thought but seemed to regress though he took time to square head s shoulders on the TD to Kamara I guess But he was telling the truth Hurd is a MAN We need to step up our OL play and throw more on early downs In the 4 quarter they were putting 7/8 in the box Good win but still a long way to go We got a winner with Shoop. Makes adjustments and is not afraid to sit poor performers but will give them further chances Go VOLS :powert: |
