They've lost 5 coaches in the major sports since he got there (3 in mens' BB, 1 in womens' BB, 1 in FB). Only the first mens' hoops coach (whom DB inherited) was fired, all the rest left because their success led to opportunities at bigger schools. His first three replacement hires didn't just maintain the success- they led their respective programs to even greater heights. His new football hire has yet to coach a game at UTC. So in coaching hires so far, Blackburn is 3 for 3, with one pending. If he can bring that kind of acumen to UT, we'll be well on our way back to respectability. :clap:
