Title: Gamers, this Fall is looking pretty huge (for me anyway)
Post by: Black Diamond Vol on May 19, 2017, 03:49:36 EDT
Games I'm going to want coming in Q3-4:

Red Dead 2
South Park The Fractured But Hole
Madden (I don't normally get it, but now that the Falcons are actually good...)
Call of Duty WW2 (another I haven't bought in a while, but they're going back to their WW2 roots, so this one could be pretty good)
Star Wars Battlefront 2 (this one will have a single player campaign)
New Assassins' Creed (no official details yet, but leaks seem to put it in Ancient Egypt)
New Far Cry
The Crew 2
Forza 7
Middle Earth Shadow of War
Uncharted The Lost Legacy

And that's just what we know right now.  E3 is next month, and more could be revealed there.

where will you find that kind of time?  That's a lot of gaming

Are you watching Fargo?  It's really good, IYAM

So far, I don't think Fargo is quite as good as the first two seasons, but it's still better than all but about two shows on TV right now (The Leftovers and Better Call Saul are just killing it this year).  And I love me some Mary Elizabeth Winstead.  She won't turn up on many "Hollywood's most beautiful" lists,  but there's just something about her that's sexy as hell. :naughty:

To you, what was it that held Battlefront 1 back?  It looked gorgeous, but seemed to have no staying power.

Lack of content.  It had no single player campaign, and only shipped with 4 maps (I think 2 more came later as DLC, but still that's pretty weak).  It got very repetitive very fast.

Rockstar announced today that RDR2 has been delayed until Spring 2018.  :banghead:

Yeah, I was about to post that.  I guess we should cut them some slack.  I mean, they've only had 8 years.
