Not only does the NBA want to legalize gambling on their games, they want a cut of the action. Because what could possibly go wrong? Certainly no possibility of corruption there. :frown:

I gambled on football one season (97) and made a bit of money, but I really don't understand how people get addicted to it. I treated it like any other job I would do, and that's what it was, work. Hours of checking stats on line. A complete grind. I made money, but my hourly rate was very poor! But I guess the true gamblers go on gut instinct and get a big dopamine or endorphin rush, and that's what hooks them. Point shaving has been an issue plus a corrupt ref has been caught. I can see point shaving being a problem in college ball, but it would take a lot of green to buy an NBA player because of the money they already make.
