As if he's a Griffith-like cheerleader or something. I think half of Adams' columns are written for the sole purpose of embarrassing us. :frown:

I like Adams. He's a really good writer. Sometimes I vehemently disagree with what he's saying, but that's his job -- to evoke emotion. Besides, taking away the critical voices leaves an echo chamber. I tend to not like echo chambers very much. But with that said, he's really, really been slipping the last year or two. Which, while it does seem like he is really searching for ideas, isn't at all the same as trying to somehow make last year's cluster fizzle acceptable.
