Just because he is a VFL doesn't mean he is a great coach. He coached some pretty outstanding offensive talent at USC and none of their offenses were really lights out, even with Darnold, Barkley etc.

Seriously, though, I'm just not as enamored with Tee as a coach as most UT fans seem to be. Our WRs were greatly improved this year...and I can't help but think he's probably been promised an eventual position as the OC, which I'm not sure is a good thing. I agree, this could work out great. I imagine Tee will be a good position coach as well, and hopefully he will be able to complement what Chaney has to offer. I guess the key will be the chemistry on the O staff and how well they can work together. Having Fulmer there just might help taht situation. |
