Title: A Comparison Post by: murfvol on March 25, 2019, 02:34:52 EDT It's not perfect, but this hoops team reminds me a lot of the '01 football team.

Title: Re: A Comparison Post by: Creek Walker on March 25, 2019, 03:25:24 EDT Well if that's the narrative, we're going to beat Virginia against all odds, only to choke against Ohio State after the Buckeyes make a Cinderella run through the Midwest and lose their top player to injury in the win over UNC. :banghead:
At this point, I don't know what to make of our next game. Purdue has looked very, very good. They completely took apart Villanova. Obviously that's not the Villanova team of the last few years, but it's still Jay Wright and he's a mastermind. We looked good enough in the first half today to beat anybody in America. But we have trouble sustaining the effort here of late. I've watch all the games for 4 days and still watching.....my remote is worn out from going between 4 channels. If I had to pick 2 teams I'm most impressed with so far it would be Auburn and Purdue. |
