I don't know what kind of Jedi mind trick they played on him to get him to take that deal, but I'm happy about it. What a steal. Now they have no excuses not to go out and get him some help. Acuna's upcoming arbitration years and his possible re-signing were always the looming shadow that excused Liberty Media from spending real money now- now that's been resolved, and in a VERY team-friendly manner. Cubs played terrible last night, which is good. Acuna was a no-brainer. They got him cheap.
