Title: Firearms Safety (football, not political) Post by: murfvol on March 10, 2020, 03:03:22 EDT 1) I didn't know who Brandon Davis was, but do remember a Razorback hoops guy of the same name from 20 years ago.
2) If he shot himself accidentally there will probably be a powder burn. If there's no burn he had the gun out, and there may be footage. 3) Guns don't discharge themselves. Unless it's a pre-80s 1911 the trigger has to be pulled. and 4) Unless Davis is 21 he cannot own a handgun. 5) If he is 21 and has a concealed permit from Louisiana he could legally carry in Tennessee. 6) However, if he was carrying he's guilty of issuing a false police report. Long story short, I'd boot him unless he was hit by a stray round (highly unlikely). It seems he negligently discharged a firearm he can't legally own in a crowded establishment. Title: Re: Firearms Safety (football, not political) Post by: SmokeyJoe on March 10, 2020, 06:59:32 EDT I think this seems like a decent summation. Supposedly witnesses say he shot himself. I have no idea of the circumstances, but they don't sound good.
