Title: On a POSITIVE note Post by: PirateVOL on November 22, 2020, 05:37:18 EST The OL played NASTY tonight
Tonight was Trey's best game of the year, by far - several nasty finishes and some pancakes We ran consistently behind Cade tonight Cooper played the most he has in several games We even lined Cooper up outside once (screwed up the play but he was going to run a route) Had some busts but the best game, as a group, they have played all year Title: Re: On a POSITIVE note Post by: Tnphil on November 22, 2020, 05:42:44 EST If you look at the stats it would seem impossible to lose by double digits. But Gitmo...and our head case kicker.
Title: Re: On a POSITIVE note Post by: BanditVol on November 22, 2020, 05:43:44 EST Also Gray and Harrison played well. Feel good about them and the OL, but not about the future direction of the team under Pruitt.

Feel good about them and the OL, but not about the future direction of the team under Pruitt. Auburn defense probably has several in walking casts tonight because Gray was breaking some ankles in the open fieldTitle: Re: On a POSITIVE note Post by: murfvol on November 22, 2020, 05:49:27 EST This situation is unlike previous disastrous seasons in that our roster isn't bad. Hats off to Pruitt for constructing it.
However, this magnifies the gross mismanagement of said roster. Title: Re: On a POSITIVE note Post by: HerbTarlekVol on November 22, 2020, 04:16:25 EST I've said all along that Cooper will end up being a better OLman than Cade will be. He's a lot smarter and plays much more under control than Cade does.
And by the way, the youngest brother, now in middle school, may very well be the most athletic of the three. Going to be interesting to see where he ends up playing high school football. Don't think it will be Catholic. To many issues between Daddy and the Catholic coach when Cade and Cooper were there, and they weren't caused by the coaches. |
