Might be a case of "stage fright" at being in Omaha a bit, though they have typically not had that problem all season.
So maybe they got the jitters out and can get back to normal. Also it was frustrating to watch the squandered opportunities, but credit to their pitcher, unfortunately, he pitched a helluva game. The only chalk game over the weekend was Vandy over AZ, and it took them 12 innings to win that one. Then Stanford came out and eliminated AZ today in a big upset.
