with the basketball loss on Wednesday followed by yesterdays debacle. Today I continue with my goal to keep Georgia from winning the NC. To do that and since it is the first game, I need to pull for Alabama to beat Cincinnati as I think they have the best shot of knocking off GA. Of course, the Wolverine is my favorite mammal today.

ANYfizzleINGBODY other than bammer.  Go Cincy, and strictly if necessary, I will hold my nose and hope the dawgs win.

Anybody but UGA for me. I would prefer that it not be UGA or Bama, but will pull for anyone against UGA. They are, at the present time, my public enemy #1.

Yeah. I live among both fanbases. Bammers are already #badword#s. Another title isn't going to change that. But if UGA finally gets one, I may have to move. :frown:

Bama fans can back it up.....UGA fans think they invented football when in fact UGA has done less with more than any team in the country for the past 40 years.......................1980.

That's how I feel. I don't want to hear it from all of the UGA fans here.

But from the looks of this game so far, I might have to deal with it.

I dont understand picking bama over uga, but to each their own I guess.

It’s pretty simple, to me.   Like BDV said, what’s another Bama title?  Bammers can’t get any worse.

Georgia fans have all the cockiness (and then some) without the trophy case.  Simply put, I’d like it to stay that way.

That's an opinion and quite frankly one that I don't share at the present time.

To me, though, it's not about fans. It's about what is best for the Vols. I see no way that another Bama title really hurts UT at all, but I think that UGA winning a NC could really make it even more difficult than it already is to gain ground on them on the recruiting trail.

It's the best of two evils and I'm pulling for the tide.

It is an opinion, but I can add corroborating evidence

Two people have been shot dead in the state of bama in the last 5 years following bama losses

That nutjob that poisoned the trees at Auburn

And there are plenty more.

I think they are no different than any other fanbase whose teams have had a runs like theirs. Us Vol fans can be obnoxious too. Just wait until we start winning consistently.

It's just an honest observation of how most fan bases are the same. Once again the truth just pisses you off.
