Was the 141's underfloor heat on?It it was, that was a rare occurrence when it worked I flew around the world twice Once on a C-141 and the 2nd on a MC-130H Don't recommend the latter Flew into Sudan in 1981 on a C-5A We did an overhead approach, thought it was cool When they flew in to take us out a few weeks later I saw those overheads seemingly take 2 countries to perform it I was in Marietta to work on a mod to the C-5 for my toy The prototype for the C-5M was in the hanger downstairs - went out on it and showed where they should move a key set of components for my toy, using the Mark 1A eyeball and doing trig in my head (always a dangerous activity - but it worked this time) |
