They are saying that Fulmer is almost a done deal for AD

When the voters in San Diego voted against the bonds to fund a new stadium, it was a done deal. The SD owner told the city, the NFL, and anyone that would listen that he could not build the stadium on his own and needed a city bond deal. He almost left last year to be part of the new Los Angles stadium deal with Rams, but NFL wanted a San Diego vote. Since the Raiders were exploring the move to Las Vegas or LA, NFL really did not want any part of Las Vegas. When Las Vegas stepped forward (not a done deal, but it really is), it opened the door for Chargers to move. We will see how two teams in one stadium works. But the NFL supposedly agreed to this in principle last year, but made San Diego wait until now before finalizing it.

The NFL is not about the fan. It is about making the owners as much money as possible. NFL could care less about the fans of any city because the owners own and run the league.
