Lost by 3. Stenson was destined to win today. You make 10 birdies on Sunday at a major you are at your best. When he made that 51 footer for birdie it was pretty much over at that point. Then he gets up and down out of the deep rough on 16 for birdie and it was game...set...match. Phil today was collectively 4 inches away from being 4 more under.

Just great golf by both players.

From an article I saw today, each person was to receive about $166,000 after the lawyer feed at the trough. If any lawyers are offended by my remarks; good. You should be offended and shamed by your money-grubbing, scum-sucking fellow lawyers that once again gamed a system to line their pockets with cash.

I tried to watch it once last year....after about 20 minutes I'd had enough.

I'm running a 2009 laptop with Win 7, and so I hesitate to upgrade.  I figure by the time they phase out 7, I'll just buy a new laptop.  7 is fine for everything I am doing at the moment.

I've been getting the update to 10 free popup daily for months and have yet to do it......No more than I use a computer anymore other than to surf the web I'm a gret mind not to do it at all. The app crap would drive me crazy.

I did just check Rivals.  We are 9th in 2017 per that site.   Much better than I thought.  I know ratings aren't perfect but I don't see any reason to panic.  I do hope we improve from top 10 to top 5 though.

As for the WR situation, I have been very confused about the rotation for pretty much the duration of Butch's tenure.  There doesn't seem to be an ability to establish any consistency whatsover, and there really isn't a "go to" guy.

I think part of the problem is Dobbs. It's possible that our OC will settle into a better passing routine in his second season, Dobbs or no Dobbs, and some WR leaders who can be consistent will emerge, but I'm not holding my breath.

I am pretty sure the situation will improve when Dobbs is replaced by a more consistent passer next season, but the situation should be better than it is.

Not to be a downer....but a lot of the reason we are ranked so high right now for the 2017 class has a lot to do with having so many committed at this point. When other big dogs catch up with us numbers wise we will drop several spots unless we pickup with top 150 players and stop taking so many 3 star out of state commits.

30 miles down the road and he heads to Clemson. Butch better win big this season and show kids we can play and beat the big dogs. Not good when our instate 4 and 5 star recruits head out of state and we are getting commits from out of state 3 stars. We haven't shown we can develop highly rated WRs and I'm sure it's being used against us in recruiting.

Also...I've posted before if I was a top rated WR recruit and how bad our passing game has been I'd tell Butch Don't call me I'll call you.

Wife and me stopped at the Kroger super store here this afternoon.....people were flocking to the wine isles. They have a great selection and I'd say more to pick from than any liquor store in town. On average the cost of the wines that we buy were a $1.00 to $1.50 cheaper than the liquor stores. But it's all about convenience. No more making 2 stops.

I'll toast with a dark to them....Well, maybe 3 or 4.

With UT and the way Butch has a habit of making WTF moments......if we are playing a NAIA team I'm not resting easy until the final horn blows. We have data to back that up.

Weak leadership has gotten our program in the mess it's been in for years. Heads should have rolled long ago, IMO.

It is hard to believe that the top-notch program he comes from....having offers from most all the top programs in the country, he isn't right now in the top 400 recruits in the country. I'm sure he'll move up.
