I can understand them not scoring much...their offense when they lost their QB was Mizzou bad....
I just can't believe their defense gave up that many points. Their defense must have tanked it knowing the O couldn't score.

Better than I thought.....The ole saying still goes....if you want to play for or win championships you have to have a good defense.
All 4 teams in the playoffs play damn good defense.

I think Titans need to hire someone to run the team that actually understands football and signs players based on talent and not who little money they can sign them for. Hire someone that will tell you "No" when you want to draft someone named Taylor Lewan. Do Titans have any OL that have managed to play all year? Or even understand they are going to get a QB killed if they cannot get in the way to slow down the defensive rush. All offensive coaches need to go. Sunday afternoon just after the final whistle. Have security meet them and escort them out and tell everyone the locks or security code they have will not work Monday morning.
Chip Kelly sounds like a just downright disagreeable cuss that no one in Philly liked. He sounds like he and Jerry Jones were meant to be together in Dallas because Jerry never shuts up long enough to let the HC speak. Keep him out of Nashville and away from selecting talent. Titans have the worst roster in football now.
About 2/3 of the defensive coaches need to be locked out too and about the same 2/3 of the defensive players. Most of the DB's need not even get on the plane in Indy for the return flight home. That Cox DB wouldn't even make the trip. The last 3 games I've seen him whiff or AVOID trying to make a tackle several times....He wouldn't have played another down for me after what I saw 3 weeks ago.

Firing Jeff Fisher was a huge mistake. Whoever took over from Bud Adams (his son?) has really screwed the pooch so far. Adams passed on in 2013.
It was Buds SIL who I thought was making some progress at first.....but then he stepped down to run Bud's other businesses and interest and Bud's daughter is now running the show. IMO, she doesn't know football from a peach basket. The whole organization is a total cluster. Right now the city of Nashville would be better served if they tore Nissan Stadium down....made it into a dog park and let the dogs $hit all over the green grass instead of the team.

I suspect he will be heading back to the college ranks though I wouldn't mind giving him a short tryout with the Titans. Maybe he could get at least something out of that mess.
I'm not a big NFL fan but have followed the Titans since they've been in Tennessee and watch most games. They are one of the worst teams I've ever seen these past 2 seasons. I mean they are close to the Tampa Bay expansion teams of the early 70's.

I just got off the phone with one of Doug's family members...he passed away this morning. Doug has been pretty ill for a good while. Doug was from my hometown, Humboldt, Tn. Glad to say I knew Doug pretty well and we drank coffee many times together in Humboldt at the City Café over the years.
He would tell us old football war stories that would make us spit coffee out of our noses. His bicep's were bigger than my thighs and a coffee cup in his hand looked like a thimble.

There are still morons, probably the same ones who thought Gruden was coming, on VQ That bridge has long been burnt
What....what!!!!! You don't believe that we had Gruden in the bank...he was packed and ready and was already putting a MONSTER staff together and at the 11th hour Hart axed the deal!!! Surely you jest ![](https://volstothewall.com/board/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif) Edit: I've been called everything but a honorable white man because I never bought into that crap and laughed at folks that believed it. Funny thing....there's been about 80 college jobs and 40 NFL coaching openings since Hart turned him down and ole John Gruden hasn't gotten a coaching gig yet. We must have really hurt his feelings.
