Mostly good, but that footage near the end of the AUBURN GAME in which we were simply thrashed put a damper on it.

I will enjoy something like that a lot more when it includes us putting a thumping on Auburn. Or better yet, bammer. 

I'll believe it when he does it against someone besides our OL. 

Sorry, I have painful memories of them from last season, and they suck until proven otherwise.

I notice that at the top the investigation was based on a single complaint.  Reading through it the first time, I thought there had been multiple complaints.  The article does not state any details about the complaint that led to the investigation.

I also think it's unfair for the Tennessean to tack on all the accounts of football players, when it's not even clear that the complaint was about a football player!  It could have been anyone.

But...thinking about it a bit more, what I suspect is that the complaint was about the Von Pearson case, and the Tennessean knew that, but could not report it, so instead strongly implied it.

If my guess is correct, then it might well explain the University's behavior.  If the complaint was specifically about Von Pearson then the caution may well be warranted.

Until the OL is proven, I am staying pat on my prediction of 8 wins.  We still have a very tough schedule.

A more recent concern is WR due to the absence of Von Pearson and that 3 top guys are coming back from serious injuries.  I am going to continue to be cautious.

I'm on campus. My dog is at the UT vet clinic. Open practice tonight but I likely can't stay.

So are all practices in evening?  When do they get used to hot weather? The swamp likely will be pretty steamy.

The re-suspension smacks of a SJW vendetta.  The no associated rationale is a key factor as SJW's need no facts or rationale as they know more than the law or due process.

Either way I do think the university should explain it's stance.

I don't know what SJW means but my impression is that the case against him must be pretty serious for the university to re-suspend him. Hopefully some clarity will come soon.

In recent years past, we might have doubts about our ability to beat Bowling Green at all, I don't care how bad they are.

For a change, let's just enjoy what is likely to be an epic beatdown.

1) playing for a coach working on an all-out overhaul of his roster, and

2) at the bottom of a large, talented recruiting class

then it should go without saying that you don't want to do things to give the coaches a reason to show you the door. It sounds like Bruce did a couple of those things, and so did Kyle Oliver.

I don't agree on Arkansas.  They should be either 5-5 or 6-4 in our favor.  I might lower mizzou to 5-5 just because it's on the road and we have yet to beat them.  Bammer is 2-8 and might be 3-7 by the time the game rolls around.  I don't think folks appreciate how down they are right now.

I'm sure most of you already have read that on other boards and blogs so I doubt it's news. It's also second hand and might not be true.

Now, if Joc Bruce was Jalen Hurd, would he still be on the team in spite of everything?  Who knows.  But HTK likely is correct that it was more than classes.  Had it just been the classes he would still be there regardless of talent level.

Not me. I'm a hundred times more concerned about a drunk who drives compared to a driving stoner. Stoners are paranoid drivers and usually drive too cautiously. Drunks are fearless and aggressive.

I agree.  So does the fact that he was going 79 in a 55 mean that he was not stoned?    Because I have heard that some stoners get really angry also, though from what little I know I think that reaction is less common.   

And the real problem here is that anyone would ever make the speed limit on a freaking interstate 55.
