Probably be 6-2 if Tiget sat for a match, something I'd love to see tomorrow as his record in the Ryder Cup suxes greatly
I don't know if anyone could match Colsaerts 8 birdies and 1 eagle in the afternoon round. The morning match he tanked but played well in the afternoon match. Just not good enough. Was lucky to have a chance to tie at the end.

Really? I swear, I thought Bray was going to quick kick the damn ball. I never dreamed we were going to something as dumb as go for it. Maybe try to draw them offsides like everyone tries to do though no one ever does jump. Didn't Bill Battle draw unemployment after some similar decisions?

We had a lead on Bama at halftime two years ago and another team or two also then in the second half we got zapped (just like yesterday). This seems to be a trend with us, play well at the outset then do no adjustments at the half. The "If it ain't broke then don't fix it." mentality. I never agreed with that too much because you know your opponent is scrambling for damage control and adjusting so why leave things status quo. I suggest two gameplans for each game. First half then second half. Adjust a little if necessary. We are just too predictable.

My problem is I want to see him succeed but after two years and a chance to fine tune his staff and recruiting (at least to some degree) this is where we are. His biggest win thus far (some refer it as a signature win) was over a basketball school thats middle of the road in football in the ACC. Before that it was over the bottom feeder, Vandy, in overtime. I don't see being competetive in the SECE for some time to come. Solution? Maybe a coaching change (and I STILL want Peterson) is the only answer but I hate to see us become a revolving door school, but Bama was there for a while but got things repaired fairly well. This crap is so depressing.

Hm, well, I blame that on Tyler. It actually made sense to try a throw on first down there. It's very common to try and take advantage of a big turning point (in this case the stopped fake punt). Tyler had absolutely no reason to throw it into the flat with no one there. Taking a sack would have been better. At that point, on second and long, how can you run?
I wouldn't peg it to that particular play.
I think the back breaker was Burton's long run, and he simply brushed aside a player who could have made the tackle.
Actually (in the college game) it doesn't make any difference due to the penalty involved. It's a spot foul and the ball is placed at the point of infraction and loss of down. If you get sacked, then the ball is placed at that point (same as grounding) and you lose the down (same as grounding). No big deal but I"ve wondered why the penalty is not more severe.
