I probably should've just kept my mouth shut, but lopping EB's news yesterday in with the other junk that's been going on just hit me wrong. When I saw the EB news, not once did I think "how much more can this poor fan base take?" It didn't even register me on the same level as AJ and Tyndall. Plus, I'm weary of people going on about how we got jobbed at the end of the game on Saturday.
At this point I'm pretty sure I took Creek's post way wrong anyway, though.
Yup, I'm pretty sure y'all just crossed streams in the pissing contest.

We're not the only program with problems. I know what your saying but there's a lot to be excited about. Sometimes I just get rubbed the wrong way with the collective self pity our fan base has.
The RTI guys are still going on about the onsides kicks. I'm like, really?
I'm kicking you out of the Legion.

Enjoying Roger Creager Live Across Texas as I post. That was preceded by The Randy Rogers Band Hot Tamales. And if one is a fan of Red Dirt/Texas County as I am, you need to get Stoney LaRue's new CD Aviator, and Wade Bowen's new CD appropriately titled Wade Bowen. Both are really solid discs. Trying to figure out how to justify getting myself to Nashville this week. Creager is at the Exit/In on Wednesday, and LaRue is there on Thursday. I'd come for the double dip for sure if I didn't have a game to work on Friday night. During football season it is tough for me to be gone during the week because I have to cram a full week of my "regular" job in to about 3 days. I became a Roger Creager fan while living in Houston during the early 2000's. Was friends with his bass player's sister and was able to see him live quite a bit.

Clearly Jones will go with the QB that he thinks is the best option, as he proved this year by starting Worley. That said, it was refreshing to see Dobbs shred the nation's no. 3 defense with his legs, and have a QB that is a running threat in an offense designed to let the QB run, for a change.
As some have said, defenses can now scheme for Dobbs running, but hopefully that will open things up elsewhere.
If nothing else, he can certainly avoid the rush better than Worley and with our OL that is downright essential.
If he can improve his downfield passing ability, he could really open things up for us.

Anything can happen in a game with an oblong ball. On paper Bama should win, but after some games penalties and turnovers make that same scrap of paper worthless. Besides, the best impersonation of this Tide team is Jekyll and Hyde, with Mr. Hyde often showing his disturbing face in road games such as this.
BG
I would give my left jewel for Bama to have a disastrous game and for all the breaks to go in our favor.
