I just checked Ticketmaster. They?re only selling the tickets with two night hotel packages (at the Venetian), and those start at $1065 per person. Which honestly, isn?t as bad as I expected. Still more than I?m willing to spend though, especially since Bono has clearly lost about 15 mph off his fastball.

yep, and they were the exceptions to the rule. A Heisman candidate & the Belitnikov winner. A strong case can be made that the rest of them are either not great players, discipline problems, or a combination of both.

I think the consensus was that it would be an 8-5 season, so struggling shouldn't come as a shock and it doesn't mean that UT staff is terrible.

As VTTW's resident caveman, these issues sound perplexing. My mantra is, "simple is executable."

In fairness, I grudgingly admit fuel injectors may be superior to carburetors in some respects. Otherwise, technology is bad and scary.

I embrace technology. Having fought in Desert Storm and then later in Iraq & Afghanistan, a hard lesson learned was understand that he who owned the better technology won. Every time.

What bothers me is having a senior heavy team and looking as bad as we do.

The whole team looked to be in a funk - kinda like when we played the cocks last year.....I just chalked it up to the typical Gainesville Syndrome, but maybe this 'chronic' situation had some adverse effect on the team.  The D didn't even look like they wanted to be out there at times.
