PV's right, he couldn't begin to master the nuances of this offense and the pace in a couple of days and a wakeup. Pray our D plays lights out and manufacturers some TOs and points and the OL and RBs can generate plenty of offense without forcing Overthrow Joe to try to win it.    

Whether we do or not is to be seen, but this team definitely has the potential to GO ALL THE WAY. Defense is playing much better and no one has had an answer for our offense. I think we play Dawgs just like Bama and KY, stop the run and pressure the heck out of the QB.  GO VOLS!!!

 well you get the picture. I just hope we can continue the great D against the run and keep Rodriquez under 50, if we do that and force the pass I'm confident Banks can dial up some blitzes to make Levis' night very long, confusing and disappointing.

Yeah, we went to brunch Sunday and I was wearing my orange and lots of people were saying "way to go Vols, Bama didn't know what hit 'em"....none were wearing orange, everyone hates Bama!       

Hooker staying healthy is paramount to any success we have yet to achieve, it's not worth the risk. I remember Chuck Webb ending his career against Pacific. Hooker doesn't win the Hiesman if he doesn't play the remainder of the season, that's a certainty.            

I watched the LSU vs Auburn game yesterday and LSU, at least in that game, did not look impressive. If we play as we have thus far, and don't have TOs, we should win by a comfortable margin IMO.       

Yeah Disney is losing it's ass with Disney + and the parks and wants sports fans to pay for their losses. Screw 'em, I can go to the local bar and watch games, I applaud Dish for refusing to submit.       

If Hooker isn't amped up and over throwing receivers, and we contain AR and their running game, we should win fairly easily.        

First I'm hearing of this, I hope it's just enough to prevent him from being effective....then he can be awesome next week.              

him thus far, meaning he was trying to be more of a pocket passer and wasn't running when the opportunity was there and instead forcing passes. I expect Florida is going to run, run, and run some more Sat, I hope our D can shut 'em down. AR has clearly demonstrated that he can't carry the O with his arm, the running threat is what breaks Ds down and opens up the passing. The two running backs are very good and if you throw AR in there, with just enough passes to keep our LBs and DBs honest, it's going to mean we have to be physical and tackle extremely well (i.e. no 4-6 yrds after contact).         

The lack of production from the RBs is due to lack of dominance by the OL IMO. The RBs rarely get more than a yard beyond the LOS before they're hit. I also think that throwing slants and to the TEs more would give the LBs more to be concerned about and prevent them from filling the gaps so quickly (Pitt's LBs did this extremely well).

That's what I said the instant I heard it reported! Talk about unprofessional; it's nothing short of defamation....and based on a tweet by an Ark fan? Absolutely no effort to verify the veracity of the rumor, I don't think they wanted to spoil the opportunity to bash Tennessee...AGAIN. Sue 'em!          

I see it as them being relaxed and just having fun playing baseball at THE University of Tennessee!

No knock on the kid himself, I hope he kills it in Knoxville. And I’m glad we’re actually swimming in the deep end of the NIL pool (I didn’t think we would).

But $8M for a kid who’s never taken a college snap? This is bad for college sports. We’re just building a giant house of cards here. 

IMO it comes down to this: the facts are the die has been cast and either we adapt or we can forget again being competitive at the top level.
