Actually, I had wondered earlier today what it would be.  I had a similar guess, the Star Spangled Banner as performed by the a special session of the joint bands of the U.S. armed forces.   But this was just as good and ... a lot easier. 

Allright, here's the deal:  assume the top 25 athletes in any given single state are recruited to the same team, every year, year after year, and the coaching staff is a given (same coaches good or bad, just take coaching, facilities, fanbase, etc. out of the equation).

Given all that, if you could stock a team with only the *best* players from one and only 1 state, year after year, which state's players would produce the best and most successful football team?

I'd say it's between Florida and California, but I change my mind every time I think about it.   

The ONLY women's soccer game I've ever watched, and it ends this way. 

Kinda glad, though ... I didn't need another sport to follow, so the disappointment will veer me away.

It seems that TexA$$ is going to launch some sort of pay-or-you-can't-see-the-game-if-it's-played-in-TX TV channel this year ... which is really chapping the TAMU fans' azzes ... so there is (supposedly!) a greatly increased interest in their fanbase to bolt and join the SEC.

I don't remember all the details ... but there will be a replay I guess (on CSS there always is), so keep a watch this weekend if you're interested.

I am really happy to hear this news ... I mean REALLY ... even the thought of a kidney stone, for me or for anyone else, makes me squirm.  My philosophy about pain is ... "it hurts".  No amount is acceptable, much less that of a kidney stone.

I refuse to believe that the OL is going to be anything less than beastly. I am in full homer mode regarding the OL.

Not just pure 100% hope and blind bravado I hope -- you really think it's realistic?  Hope so!    A great OL is the ENGINE that pulls the rest of the team.  But I believe it'll be awhile before we see those days again.
