Hey, I was out by yer and WW's old haunts Thanksgiving weekend.  Went over to pick up some Panseys to help out Pat's cause and ended up where the old high school was and wondered how ya was doing. 

I miss those nights with the long threads on anything and nothing on the old board (threads would slowly move to the right).

What I noticed was that they stomped the Longhorn shizz out of Texas and rushed for a measly 80-something yards. Fifty passes. Gives me even more encouragement with the Mange coming to Neyland today. It's great to be a Tennessee Vol!

I have no idea (other than the enormous amount of money they've been accumulating from donors in the last decade or so) why aTm is probably gonna be an SEC team. I'd be just as excited by Indiana joining. Plus, I dread hearing that droid-sounding "mehhhh" noise from all their robotic fans while they twirl hankies. Reminds me of Jim Carrey's "Wanna hear the most annoying sound in the world?" noise from "Dumb and Dumber". I heard enough of that watching the Cotton Bowl. Like Dooley said, "It's not about the money. It's about the amount."

HA!... Not Barbie...my cousin Barbara had a heart valve replaced yesterday.  And my Mom had a knee replacement....and my hubby has a melanoma cancer on his face being removed on Friday (hoping the next pathology report looks good and it hasn't spread!).  Life has taken precedence for me over FB this year.

Our coaching staff thinks Florida won't punt, so it doesn't matter who is scheduled to return them.
Our coaching staff has watched Florida's punt team and likes the odds better with Devrin.
Our coaching staff doesn't see anybody better on our roster right now no matter who we are playing.

(or, four?) Our coaching staff thinks Florida's punter will play right into our hands and kick it deep for two long returns by DY...one for a TD.  I like option "or, four?".

I don't have to do that. I'm just a fan. I can get giddy and crazy and braggy and stuff like Tennessee fans have always done. If we lose, I just go back to square one and start all over again.     Go, you dang Vols!       

Mom came through surgery fine -- I spoke with her a while ago (still drunk and funny as hell -- Mom is always a right when coming out of anesthesia!).  She'll be fine.

Barb's heart surgery went fine and she's in ICU, but they've already taken the breathing tube out.

Wonderful news on both counts -- thanks for all the thoughts and prayers!  Now to get Dean through his ordeal later this week without any issues!

Whoa! I'm way behind (as usual). Great news about Mom. Barbie had heart surgery? Oh, man. Glad she is recovering. She's a totally tough woman and she'll be fine. Well, BLESS HER HEART, anyway.

That TD pass to D. Rogers was probably ill-advised, but I loved it. He gunned it in. And the catch wasn't bad either.

He had to catch it to keep it from it hitting him and breaking a rib. It was sssmokin'.   

It was the worst pass defense I have seen in a long time. One could argue, because it happened so many times, that the Michigan qb was underthrowing his receivers on purpose and they were coming back to the ball. Or one could say that he was just chunking the ball up for grabs and every time the ND db came up with the short end of the stick.

It was an amazing game in its own way but a classic it was not.

Somehow I was thinking I said 42-24, Vols....I just looked at my prediction and it says 41-24. I claim old and senile.

Funny, (sort of) this game went almost like I imagined it would and I was never nervous at all. That happens once in awhile.

I ALWAYS think we win on gameday(check my old posts if you want)...but today I was headsure with no doubt.

Not me...but I'm crazy and you can't go by me. I was only worried that he would become disinterested in football and not work at it. The coaches wouldn't let him.
