I coached Bill Clark in HS. He was one of my lineman. When he left Jacksonville State as their HC, he did not know about their plans to drop football. Paul Bryant Jr. and the rest of the BOT don't want to take any money away from the Mothership in T-town.

It was an awesome experience! You don't how much it meant to do the VOL Walk for the first time and run through the T again.

Reading that blog sounds like there is still quite a bit of uncertainty and division at all levels of the University, not unlike what's happening with the fans.  Obviously there is more momentum against Dooley now and it will continue to build, but I don't find it a done deal at all from what the blog says.

OV...Gruden was the name being tossed around the Letterman Club Saturday.  I don't think it's a secret at all.  If there is a well-planned transition and it works well, I don't have an issue with it, even though I still want the season to play out.  My concern is another bad transition.

Which is really what my reaction in the other thread was about.  BDV...no disrespect, but to suggest Hart would be "forced to act" today by fan reaction the the alabummer game....not too credible.

And to be clear, if he did behave that way, then IMO he's about as bad or worse than Hamilton.

Should be an interesting several weeks coming up. In the meantime, I will be rooting for the Vols to beat USCe this week.

When you hear Saban say he will not be the next coach of the Browns, he will be.

Gruden is the man they are going after. Have been since after Florida. Dooley has already been told. The story has been leaking since last week. This week the flood gates have opened up. The AD is painting a picture before the announcement is made. Joining the T-club was the best thing I've ever done.
