Here's my two cents not about who it should be. An awful lot of basketball was taught on the ladies' side over the years... elite basketball. Kellie was close. Pat at her low hit Kellie's high a few times. I'm not suggesting that it is necessary that they stay in-house... but it would not surprise me if the answer to this dilemma is a name we would be familiar with.

This is old and rewashed and retread... but it must have validity. Our teams lack a winning edge (killer instinct/hunger). They arrive at respect and are satisfied. If respect is all they earn then they will never be able to answer yes when they wonder if they did their best. How can you respect yourself knowing you didn't do your best?

I'm not sure it's a good thing to hire a coach who does not want to do his job. Guess what... Recruiting is part of coaching. If they can't talk to the kids how are they going to coach them?
