There is a coach out there somewhere for this program. I don't think it should even be particularly difficult to find that coach. Considering this last recruiting class is the second one we had after last years collapse.... I'm willing to prescribe Pruitt a mulligan this year. We lose and replace an entire coaching staff and recruiting class and gain a coach who must first close out a championship run at his former school before beginning to brand this program.... Let's try to keep our feet on the ground please.

I'm not concerned that they didn't fill up this class. I'm convinced they could have had they wanted to. Let's hope they decided to shore up the talent on hand. And will make significant inroads to next years class.

Wow. I thought this was easily the worst of all the SW movies. I liked the prequel movies ok, but they weren’t great for sure. TLJ was ok, but it could have been ten times better. The interaction between Rey and Luke on the island was a farce. The casino sub plot was idiotic. The overall plot was pretty lame if you think about it. It had some great moments and was well made. The story was just a hodgepodge of marketing points and social commentary and little to do wit what Abrahms set up in TFA. This director literally took all of th SW story and thre it over the cliff! I’ll see it again, but not as good as the prequels IMO
If I want dysfunctional, I can watch Family Guy or Shameless. I really don’t want to see much of it in SW. I’m surprised We didn’t find out that Luke was hooked on Opioids or some silly thing
I tend to agree with you. There's no way it's better than return of the sith (JMO). I tend to see it as the second to last. It would really be last if not for the sticker shock of Jar Jar. Really Jar Jar might not have been so bad if not for the horrendous voice/dialect. I can't say I've enjoyed this third trilogy at all. TFA was just a ripoff of ANH.

You're right we will have to agree to disagree. I don't know where you get the notion I'm buying anything the guy is selling. I hate the guy! Don't want him anywhere near Tennessee ever. But, I have to give him his due... I believe in telling the truth.

Sometimes I wonder if Butch read message boards to gauge the fans wants and wishes on who plays, starts, ect. I remember that a lot of people favored Hurd over Kamara, but I think that had a lot to do with seeing a lot more from Hurd because he was the one on the field. As soon as Hurd left, bam, Kamara tore it up
Hurd started out a beast. He went out a simpering louse.

I really got raked over the coals the last time Cut was discussed. I thought he was a good hire/keep. It was the fans who cut Cuts ties. He doesn't need the money enough to subject himself to that type of possible rejection again. Fickle fans want UT ties while at the same time riding a successful UT tie out on a rail. It's like us with Kiffin... Why open ourselves up to be punked again? Why would Cut open himself up to be punked again?

I have been reluctant to weigh into this. I hate legacy coaches because I don't want to harm the legacy. I certainly don't want to bring T. Martin in before he's ready to shoulder the burden. It sours my stomach when we have to deal with legacies as failures. I would love for P. M. to come in here and stay for 30 years and burn it up. I'll be uneasy the whole time wondering when we will have to force them to pasture like Johnny (as if I'm going to be around for 30 more years).

I kind of understand this question. Every time Curries name is coming up in these discussion there's that little voice in my head that whispers what about Davenport? Am I mistaken or is it a signature other than Curries which puts us on the hook with Schiano for the mou?
