Notice the Kibblesnator at USC and the disdain that the Beckhams have for Arkansas (it is veiled but very noticeable if your read between the lines)

That's interesting that the booster was willing to make a donation to the high school coach and connecting the dots back to Peters knowing that his HS coach was involved with him going to Arkansas! Really long sentence!!!

I hope the Petrino/Peters pairing brings Nutt/Mustain-level success to the Hawgs.

One that raised an eyebrow for me:

After Texas lost to Kansas State, the Beckhams didn’t get to talk with Mack Brown, but they went to his house the next morning for a catered breakfast attended by the Texas coaching staff.

Clearly that was legal, so I suppose Pearl got in trouble for having too many of those, or one that was unreported or whatever.

None of which changes the fact that he lied to the NCAA, or that I have heard reliable talk of deeper violations, but still....

Also, while they don't seem to care for Arkie, this one caught my attention:

John Beckham also had other concerns about Alabama in terms of his perception of the program.

“It may not be as kid friendly as some other schools,” he said.

Said Tracy Beckham, “With Nick Saban, I don’t mean this in a bad way, but it’s a business and he’s a workaholic.”

They pretty much nailed that scumbag.  And I DO mean that in a bad way.

Pearl's violation was having high school juniors at an off campus function during an unofficial visit. Seniors are different.

Okay, thanks.  I figured there was some difference.   The unofficial part of it is probably the worst...I can't imagine the juniors vs. seniors thing being much of a concern.  Still doesn't seem like a huge deal, but we all already knew that.
