Here's what we have left:

Arkansas
@Bama (who may still have 3 of their best players suspended)
Ole Miss
@USC
@LSU
Vandy

For argument's sake, let's say we shoot the moon and win out.  If we play like we did yesterday, it can happen.  That would put us at 19-12, 11-5.  If that happens, I think we're in the dance, regardless of what happens in the SECT.  Even if we drop one, I think we can still make it if we win one in New Orleans.

And if CCM manages to get THIS team to the dance, doesn't he HAVE to be the SEC COY?

I'm being guarded in My predictions. I think Tennessee goes 16-14 and goes to the NIT(I think they lose to Alabama and Vandy)

Don't forget we might win a couple in the SEC tourney also.

I think @USC might be tough.  If bammer still has players suspended next Saturday we can handle them.  We can also beat Vandy at home, though it will be a tough game.

There are some pitfalls, but it's not unreasonable to think we might win out and pick up  a few more in the SECT.

But this team was inconsistent earlier in the year...wildly inconsistent.  Lately they seem to be settling down and playing better game-to-game.  Hopefully that will continue.  If they have finally gelled under Cuanzo, then I like our chances of at least being on the bubble.

If nothing else, the last half of the SEC just got a lot more interesting.

Obviously I'm not taking any game for granted.  Especially roadgames.  I'm just hoping that they might've turned a corner yesterday and gotten past that psychological barrier that has been hindering them on the road.  If they can handle UF at their place, they can certainly handle LSU, USC, and a suspension-weakened Bama team.  Beat those guys, hold serve at home (even though Vandy will be tough) and we should be dancing.  Should.  Those early losses to AP, Oakland, and Charleston could prove very, very costly- but the committee is supposed to place greater weight on your last 10 games, so hopefully that will be the case for us.  I think they'll also have to consider that we're a different team personnel-wise than we were then, with the addition of Stokes.

Certainly all of the remaining games are winnable.  Should be fun.

with teams they should have beaten. My gut tells me they will loose a few more games. I know beating Fla twice is huge, but some of their losses are even more puzzling. Which of those teams do you think we are right now? One that can beat Fla or one that will lose to a mid-major.

I agree there have been some atrocious and unexplainable losses (Austin Peay, WTF??), but not lately (knock on wood).
