FeelsLike98 (@FeelsLike98) tweeted at 8:19 AM on Mon, Oct 29, 2012:
Well, if they honestly do not follow through today, we simply will never commit the $ it takes to win until Mr. Cheek is gone.

FeelsLike98 (@FeelsLike98) tweeted at 8:38 AM on Mon, Oct 29, 2012:
Yep. Looks like they're holding off. If what I'm told is actually the reason, I've lost faith that we are committed to winning. Cheek smh

They are simply trying to cover themselves.  I am convinced that they have no SID contacts.

LOL.     Sorry for laughing, but those tweets make me think of my humorous posts from yesterday, which seem to be just about as accurate.

Agreed. May just have a web site that needs clicks.

FeelsLike98 is now claiming that Cheek's ultimatum is that Hart cannot fire Dooley if UT wins out. TIFWIW, which probably isn't much . . .

At least we only have to put up with rumoring like this for a few more weeks.     Seriously, why have an AD at all if the chancellor is going to micromanage?  Save some money and get rid of Hart and let Cheek play AD in his spare time.

Just remember, only a handful of people know what's REALLY going on.  So maybe Cheek is micromanaging, and maybe he isn't.   He certainly would have to sign off on any big committment of money.  I wouldn't call that mircomanaging.

Again I have a hunch, which is all it is, that ties all this together.  So far I have not had to change it.

If that were truly the case (and I don't believe it for a second), then I would be forced to root against UT in the last four.  Sorry.

And there may not be many other who admit it, but I guarantee I'm not the only one.

And I'll take it one step further.  If that were truly the case, and the players caught wind of it, I wouldn't put it past some of them to, in essence, take the next four weeks off.  Maybe even throw a game or two.  I think the anti-Dooley sentiment among our roster is that significant.

I would admit it. People can question my fandom if they must. I would've never said that until halftime of the Mississippi State game. That's when I completely, totally became fed up with Dooley. And while I wasn't rooting against UT against USCe, if I'm being honest I wasn't terribly disappointed by the fumble at the end. Maybe that's because I've become completely numb to the bad luck and frustration that comes with being a UT football fan, or maybe it's because I was afraid a win might -- just might -- save Dooley's job for him.

Until this point I've maintained that I still want Dooley to succeed, even though I think he won't, because I think he's a good guy. I can't say that anymore. I want him gone. Period. On some levels I feel sorry for him but at the end of the day my desire for this program to succeed trumps my feelings for Dooley.

I'll never go there.  Win every game.  Period.

But to each their own...

And another thing: I didn't get season tickets this year because I didn't have much faith in Dooley. I was taking the games one at a time and went to the first two home games but Florida ended it for me. I had purchased tickets for Alabama and Missouri but sold them. I won't buy tickets to another game until Dooley is out. I hate that it comes to that, but I'm not spending $100 on a football Saturday (in addition to my tickets) to watch an uninspired team. I felt similarly when Buzz was basketball coach, and I was originally a huge fan of Buzz.

Well I never did like Buzz .

I don't blame people for not wanting to attend games they don't find interesting.  I could just never root against the Vols, or any other team I care about, for any reason whatever.
