When I used to t/t we lived in Calif and our parents would drop my cousin and me off at a subdivision that went on forever, and then wait on us half way to exchange our giant full bags of candy for another giant bag to fill up-sheesh!
I miss the popcorn balls the little old lady on our street used to make for us. Man, they were good, made with molasses!

Today Basilio told a story from a couple of years ago, when Dooley was semi-popular.  He said a kid came to his door dressed like Dooley.. sharp white shirt, the pants.. the hair.. the whole deal.  He said "I swear this happened.  That kid tripped and fell on my porch, got his Tennessee shirt all dirty.  A good amount of his candy went into my bushes."

He'll be Yoda.  George Lucas version, not Disney.

Once again, I've decided to dress as the cranky old man who won't let the kids take more than one full size candy bar.

I think I am already sick of candy. Someone decided to buy it early and keep it in his desk at work. When the bags were taken home last night said person's wife noted many bags were missing a substantial amount of their original contents.

Also, we are certainly not handing out full size candy bars - unless 1" is now full size. Kids are given two, and if they say "thank you" I double it.

My lovely bride insists on giving out full size candy bars, so it's become a tradition.  This will be the 14th straight Halloween doing that.  The neighborhood kids love her.

I turn my lights off on Halloween. Not only does it keep the trick-or-treaters away, but it takes away the back-illumination as I'm hiding by the bedroom window watching for rollers with my paintball gun.

I turn off my lights and play video games in the basement while the wife takes the kids trick or treating with her brother and her parents.

Yep, I'm that guy. I love Halloween but what Halloween is to me is completely different than what it is to most.

Now that's funny, even if you're a Gator.
