No other new coach at UT is going to receive majority approval. Quite frankly, if I was a coach with multiple job opportunities, I don't think I would consider UT after this frenzy over another coach.

Yeah but couple the news that we aint getting Gruden to the news that we probably get Golden instead.  Golden has no better record than Dooley.  If word leaked out that we were interviewing Chris Peterson....then I wouldnt be nearly as upset.

Neither of these are set in stone though, especially Golden. The only "news" is that he is getting an interview.

but an interview means he is in play....I think we should be interviewing better candidates than that.  I am not sold on Golden....I think we should take our Brinks truck full of the money we were willing to spend on Gruden and offer it to Peterson.  Surley he cant say no to $6 mill a year?

I have just googled him (to see his picture) and he looks soft.  I say no, he is not SEC caliber in the looks department...his face is too weak looking.

If some of these guys would actually work out with the team they might gain a better understanding of coaching and look the part!

No Goldens, no chump change losers, and no perverts. Other than that the field is wide open.
