That's worse than I thought, and the 17 came against a very soft UK defense that we hung 55 on

Vandy D is good enough that I don't take this win for granted, but we should beat the snot out of them

As long as Dobbs doesn't turn the ball over and give them short fields, we win.  Period.  Their offense isn't capable of driving 70-80 yards on a consistent basis.

This is the problem. We have to put specifics on beating Vandy. We should trounce them with no second thoughts. Will we?

Just because I say he has had a good year, he's my hero? Grow up. Why are you okay with him overachieving and Butch underachieving? Don't you expect more from your coach?

Yes
That is about as deep as your thinking ever gets ...

Well, after a 65-0 trouncing in 1994, the Manning led Vols beat Vandy 12-7, 14-7, and 17-10 over the next three seasons.  And, I'm willing to bet they were just as bad or worse back then as they are now.  We've often had to "put specifics" (whatever that means) on beating Vandy and other bad teams.  Were you as critical then, or do your feelings about the current head coach color your beliefs and comments?

Is that what McIllwain said when vandy, up 7-6, shanked a punt with 2 minutes left to bail out the gators with a late FG?

Isn't McIllwain your fair-haired boy, since he "just wins" no matter how ugly?

If the wonderful world-beating "just win baby" Florida Gators had trouble with Vandy, should this lousy coaching staff of ours not also struggle?

You funny.

We're 1-2 vs Vandy in the last 3 years.  So yes - we can't just think we waltz in and win.

Which is why people shouldn't bitch when butch punts and pins them inside the 10 yard like we did against mizzou.
