......well more than half of the country expects Northwestern to beat UT. That's fine with me.

I'd rather the team go in feeling the lack of respect.

Yep. But for some reason the nation's football fans aren't paying any attention to the bookies.

The average fan pays attention to nothing other than rankings. They see Northwestern ranked No. 12 and UT unranked and think that tells the entire story.

The last I saw NW was 13 and we were 23. Don't recall what poll that was but disrespect favors the VOLS.
