will take nothing less than a head coaching job. Maybe the Titans to be with Mariotta. I hope not. He ruined Philly.

I suspect he will be heading back to the college ranks though I wouldn't mind giving him a short tryout with the Titans. Maybe he could get at least something out of that mess.

I'm not a big NFL fan but have followed the Titans since they've been in Tennessee and watch most games. They are one of the worst teams I've ever seen these past 2 seasons. I mean they are close to the Tampa Bay expansion teams of the early 70's.

Firing Jeff Fisher was a huge mistake.  Whoever took over from Bud Adams (his son?) has really screwed the pooch so far.  Adams passed on in 2013.

It was Buds SIL who I thought was making some progress at first.....but then he stepped down to run Bud's other businesses and interest and Bud's daughter is now running the show. IMO, she doesn't know football from a peach basket. The whole organization is a total cluster. Right now the city of Nashville would be better served if they tore Nissan Stadium down....made it into a dog park and let the dogs $hit all over the green grass instead of the team.

I think Titans need to hire someone to run the team that actually understands football and signs players based on talent and not who little money they can sign them for. Hire someone that will tell you "No" when you want to draft someone named Taylor Lewan. Do Titans have any OL that have managed to play all year? Or even understand they are going to get a QB killed if they cannot get in the way to slow down the defensive rush. All offensive coaches need to go. Sunday afternoon just after the final whistle. Have security meet them and escort them out and tell everyone the locks or security code they have will not work Monday morning.

Chip Kelly sounds like a just downright disagreeable cuss that no one in Philly liked. He sounds like he and Jerry Jones were meant to be together in Dallas because Jerry never shuts up long enough to let the HC speak. Keep him out of Nashville and away from selecting talent. Titans have the worst roster in football now.

It does look like Chip Kelly is a horrible evaluator of NFL talent. I heard a talk on sports radio (I think it was Sal Palantonio) about a month ago that said the problem is he traded away all their good defensive talent and got crap in return.  The reporter expressed an opinion that none of the Eagles DBs could crack the two deep as a sub for any other NFL team, let alone a starter.

His Xs and Os on offense still seem okay.  I watched them a couple weeks ago and he adapted his offense to his current (immobile) QB by adding more short passes in place of runs.  It's more of a "read run-short pass option".   So he's pretty innovative, but not a good personnel guy at all, and it does sound like the locker room in Philly was bad.

Then again, it was bad when Donovan McNabb was there at times also....maybe that part is just "Philly culture".

About 2/3 of the defensive coaches need to be locked out too and about the same 2/3 of the defensive players. Most of the DB's need not even get on the plane in Indy for the return flight home. That Cox DB wouldn't even make the trip. The last 3 games I've seen him whiff or AVOID trying to make a tackle several times....He wouldn't have played another down for me after what I saw 3 weeks ago.

he evaluates purely on numbers, apparently ability is not a number
