Dobbs is not a passing QB. He's not going to beat teams with his arm.

I've said for 3 years we would never win championships with Dobbs at QB.....He wouldn't start at a lot of good D2 schools. He hasn't improved one bit and doesn't see the field. I like him...good kid...but when you are trying to win a lot of games with him you are in trouble.

I said before the season that we could only be as good as our ability to throw the ball when we have to throw the ball, and we are even below that level now due to depth    I love Dobbs as an athlete, as a runner, as a competitor.   He is not a QB.

Dobbs is a athlete/running back trying to play QB in the SEC. Not a winning combination if you are trying to win championships.

Kind of makes you wonder if the staff was right to try to red shirt him in 2014.   For which they were criticized.  Given the alternates though...I guess maybe it's too bad Ferguson didn't work out.

Having said that, regardless of his recent bad play and long-term issues throwing the ball, I really do appreciate some of the games he almost single-handedly won for us.  USC in 2014 and the recent win at Uga particularly come to mind.  Whatever his limitations, his career at UT has been a huge upgrade over the previous four years.  I appreciate everything he has done for us.
