I mean, forget a touchback.  I'm wondering if that should've been a Vols' TD.  Their guy kicked it into the EZ, and Mcdowell recovered.  WTF?

Doesn't matter where the player is.  The ball never crossed the boundary until their guy kicked it in.

SEC officiating is a dumpster fire. That was pathetic. This conference's incompetent officiating is cheapening the game of college football.

If  CMac doesn't dive in on a ball that wasn't going anywhere we wouldn't be hVing this discussion

You can't expect a player to always make the correct split-second decision while on the run.  In the moment, he probably thought it was about to roll into the EZ.

But you SHOULD expect our "friends" in Birmingham to get that call correct when the replay makes it beyond obvious.
