We're laughing right now, but it's probably just a matter of time before the swoosh pushes something equally hideous on us. I mean, the smokey grays look really good, but after that last game, we may want to burn them. And I'm scared to imagine what will replace them.  |

IMO, UF's regular unis are the ugliest in the SEC. I thought that they couldn't make them even worse. I thought wrong.  |

Do uniforms actually help recruiting? As a color blind middle-aged dude with no fashion sense I'm saying no. Sure the kids may like something, and it's likely the gimmick helped a once-obscure program like Oregon get noticed, but if a kid likes a coach or program the uniform has to be an afterthought.
Bama and USC don't seem to need cool. Whew. It's after my bedtime.

Actually Herb, I like the Smoky Grays. As a once a year thing they aren\t bad. They are most decidely as ugly as a lot of alternate unis and the swoosh versions are better than the 3 stripers |

Everyone knows my feelings about Nike. So believe me, I wanted to hate the smokey grays, I really did. But I think they look great (dammit). Though after the UGA game, we might have seen the last of them. And I'm worried that whatever we get to replace them will be an affront to everything we hold sacred.  |

I understand, and it's each to his own. The alternate unis are part of the game today. But why in the world would we wear gray uniforms at home on a day when the fans are doing an orange and white checkerboard in the stadium? That just made no sense to me. |
