A lot of coaches are good when they have a once in a lifetime qb, once they graduate they don't look as good. Saban is about the only one who has won at a high level consistently without a once in a lifetime qb. Think about those Saban teams with a Manziel, Newton,Winston, Mariota, Jackson or Watson.

Meyer never did that, did he? Or Carroll? Or Bowden? Or Erikson? Or Osbourne? Or Bear? Or Switzer? Or Akers? Or Parasegian? I'd go back to Neyland, but I'm sticking to coaches I know from my lifetime that won multiple NCs. There are 2-3 a decade. Maybe you should crack a book some time....
