...I said that they should have retired his number immediately after his last game. Well, they didn't, and now we have ANOTHER #5 that may be worthy of that honor. If this team reaches the final four or beyond, there will be a movement for both Admiral and Grant to be recognized. I'm certain of it, because I'll be the one leading it if no one else does.
So what do we do? Hang TWO #5's from the rafters?
Maybe rather than retire it, we should reserve #5 as an honor for future outstanding players to wear, sort of like 'Cuse football does with #44. Thoughts?
