Florida couldn't quite pull it off. LSU plays Vandy next. If Vandy wins, that would be a monumental upset.

Regardless, we have to take care of business at Auburn.

FL should have won it in regulation. Screw the Gators......if we had needed LSU to win tonight Florida would have won by 20 just to spite our asses

I'd like to know how many empty possessions after stops UF has had after the 10:00 mark of the second half. They had every opportunity to win that game.

On LSU's last possession in regulation, Watters threw the dang thing in. You don't let him get it back! Then when he does get it back, you MUST stop the ball!

On UF's final possession, they wasted 2 seconds staring at the defense after the inbound. Then the player attacked the paint to try to draw the foul and shoots it over his shoulder trying to keep from getting it blocked. Stupid. You've got to go into the defender on that play - force the official to make a call one way or the other. No official is ever gonna consider giving you a foul on a hope and prayer shot like that kid took.

Unless Vandy pulls off the miracle, the #2 tournament seed is the best that we can do. UK in the semis is just a much tougher path. It would have been nice to be the conference champ AND the 1 seed. UF had every opportunity - dang!!!

Vandy just lost to Arkansas by 36.

If Vandy beats LSU I will not drink wine for a month.

Who knows, maybe Vandy will play them like they did us. How they took us to overtime is a puzzler.
