And that's just based on how TOUGH it is. If you want to talk about how NICE it is, it's not even a close contest. Playing in Rupp is like playing in a glorified barn. I was shocked the first time I stepped into that place. Love the atmosphere outside and even inside the complex but the arena itself sucks.

Rupp was built in the mid-70s and has seen only cosmetic upgrades ever since. It’s off campus and owned by the city, so UK can do nothing about it. They’ve been talking for years about building a new place on campus, but haven’t pulled the trigger.

Ah didn't know that.  I know that when they upgraded all the seats in TBA it made a huge difference.  The all black really makes the court stand out too when you're there in person.

Yep.  CoRupped is very much dated and pretty sterile compared to TBA and other arenas that have been upgraded over the years.
