Sounds like Rucker will be a HUGE sleeper. Apparently the recruiting sites were slow to notice him because he doesn't play at traditional powerhouse program, thus the 3 stars. But he definitely has a 5 star offer list. I expect that he'll skyrocket up the rankings as they're updated.

We may be full numbers-wise- but if this keeps up, some of the guys at the bottom of our class are going to get recruited over. Right now our class is very top-heavy, with a bunch of 3*s after you get past the top 5-6 guys. I think that will start to even out as signing day approaches.

I think what is most impressive about this class so far is that most of these guys are from out of state. Recall that the last time we recruited at a really high level, those two Butch-era classes were augmented by a couple of unusually strong years in-state, and an unusually large batch of legacies. No such built-in advantages this time. In fact, we're not even faring that well in TN (yet). If that changes, look out. But to get some of the best of the best out of AL, GA, and FL reminds me of Fulmer's recruiting heyday.
