Really disappointing to lose the second game after being up 4-0 early, and still up 3 runs with 9 outs left to get. Hope that one doesn't come back to haunt us down the road.
Yeah. We need to hold serve and win 7-8 of these 9 games against aTm, UK, and Mizzou. Sucks to let one get away like that.
I wonder if they’re overworking Connell. They need to find another bullpen arm that they trust in high leverage situations. He’s working at least 2-3 innings in every game, it seems. He’s been pretty solid up until now, but they got to him yesterday.
