In my view the team has followed Toby V's personality and that is a good thing

This team seems to ruffle a lot of feathers wherever they go. They've got a serious '86 Mets vibe. I HATED the '86 Mets.

I thought the bat flip was unnecessary but I mean the guy just smacked a walk-off grand slam in an NCAA Regional and we're gonna take him to the mat for "taunting"? Completely ridiculous, imo. I especially loved the comment on the SDS article that claimed, "If he had a future in the MLB he just blew it."

I agree with BDV, too. If you aren't a Tennessee fan, you aren't going to like this team. And the more success Tony V has, the more disliked he's going to be as a coach. He's brash and a little in-your-face, but if this team hadn't adopted his swagger, they wouldn't be nearly as successful as they are.
