I've paid next to no attention to the USFL this year- but if I were a conspiracy theorist, I might think that since every regular season game for all teams was played in B'ham, they stacked the home team's roster to juice the attendance.

I hit and missed watched some games...When I was watching the B'ham team they had some pretty good crowds. The other games pretty much had no one there. I was told they set it up to play all their games there due to Covid rules at the time (sort of like a bubble). When the rules changed it was too late for them to get all other other locations ready so they just went with the all B'ham format.

Or...its just a big advantage to always play at home.   

And Smokey your humor is spot on.  Pre-NIL bammer's salary was likely larger than the USFL team's...a lot larger.
