They are playing it as an homage to Dooley, I am sure (on SECN)

I watched that a long time ago as a teenager, haven't seen it since. Was an ND fan at the time.

Forgot that ND turned the ball over a bunch in the first half.

And something I would not have noticed much as a kid, Buck Belue in the fourth quarter was 0-9.     That would be unthinkable nowadays. I think a guy like Buck Belue would be D-2 nowadays, maybe Sun Belt at best.

Truly all uga had that year was a pretty good D and Hershel.  They were fortunate to beat ND in that game, and ND had a loss and a tie coming into it.

Anyway, interesting to see such an old game.  The huge shoulder pads and block letter very occasional scores are cracking me up.

I'd love to see more old games like that. The first game I specifically remember watching was UGA - Penn State for the title.

You can watch pretty much any game you want on youtube.

Yes, and it’s nice that we’re now building a library of big wins that aren’t from the pre-HD era.
